Meet the Leadership Team

Kathryn Arbour
CEO
Dr. Kathryn M. Arbour serves as CEO of A&I Avenues. Previously, Kathryn was Chief Executive Officer at Imagine!, the Community Center Board serving Boulder and Broomfield counties. She has also held executive leadership positions and Boards of Director roles in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors in Colorado, California, New York and New England.

Jenna Corder
Chief Operating Officer
Jenna has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Regis University. Jenna began working with the IDD population in 2007 and worked for Imagine! until June of 2024. She is now the Chief Operating Officer at A&I Avenues. Jenna enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children and their basset hound mix, Tank.

Jennie Giurgila
Chief Program Officer
Jennie has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Liberty University and is in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership. Jennie began working in Long Term Services and Supports in 2012 as a Case Manager of Home and Community Based Services Waivers for adults with physical disabilities and mental health challenges and is now the Chief Program Officer overseeing both Case Management and Early Intervention. Jennie enjoys spending her free time reading, knitting, traveling, and playing and watching soccer with her husband and son.

Erin Garcia
Controller
Erin Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is excited to bring to A&I Avenues a wide range of accounting and management experience, from small private businesses to large public corporations, over the past 27 years. She values the collective work being done by this organization and is proud to be part of the team. Erin has called Colorado home for most of her life and has raised her family here. She loves to travel to experience new things and make memories with friends and family.

Valerie Temple
Director of Early Interventionand Family Support
Valerie joined A&I Avenues in July 2022 and serves as the Director of Early Intervention and Family Support. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Composite, a master's degree in Special Education, and Texas certifications as an Educational Diagnostician and teacher. Before joining A&I Avenues, Valerie spent five years teaching special education and 10 years as an Educational Diagnostician. Valerie is passionate about supporting children, families, and the professionals who serve them. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and cheering on her kids in their activities.

Erika Schroeder
Assistant Director of
Case Management
Erika has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Erika began working with the disability community in 2008 and integrated that work towards IDD services in 2010 through a research position at the Florida State University Autism Institute. Erika moved to Colorado in 2012 and began teaching for Imagine! in their adult IDD day program the same year. Since then, Erika worked in senior care, intake in mental health services, provided ABA services in home and in schools, and was a day program manager during the Public Health Emergency. Her experiences led her to Case Management in 2021, and as of 2026 she is the Assistant Director of Case Management at A&I Avenues. Erika loves to call Colorado home for her and her husband and their pets, and finds a joy in nature and traveling to historic places.

Jessica Blatter
Human Resources
Jessica brings more than 14 years of human resources experience across a variety of industries, providing expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, talent management, and organizational support. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Management from the University of Northern Colorado, combining a strong understanding of human behavior with practical business knowledge to support employees and organizational success.
Jessica is passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and helping both employees and leaders navigate the ever-changing landscape of human resources.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her children and embracing the outdoors by riding dirt bikes with her family.

Cindy Vogels
Office Manager
My goal in life has always been to help people and with that in mind, I graduated from Adams State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I worked at Imagine! (then known as the Developmental Disabilities Center) from 1990 to 2010 when I moved to the Colorado plains. I came back to Imagine! in the summer of 2021 starting as the HRC liaison in the Case Management department, then moving to Central Administrative Coordinator and now as Office Manager at A&I Avenues. I enjoy gardening and spending time with my dogs and my family.
